The Little Pocket is a grassroots organisation with community and the natural environment at our core. We provide platforms to encourage community connection with people and place, value local skills, knowledge and hold space for recovery and regeneration. Established in March 2019 in the mountains of Beechmont as an unincorporated not-for-profit association, The Little Pocket has adapted and grown organically to meet the needs of community, building resilience and deeper connections along the way.

We acknowledge and pay deep respect to the traditional owners of the land on which we meet.We acknowledge the Birrinburra and Wangeriburra people. We acknowledge the Mununjali, Bullongin, Kombumerri, Gugingin and other clans and families within the Yugambeh group. We acknowledge and pay respect to the elders past, present and emerging and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples here today. We pay our respects to the waterways, skies and land - our mother.
